Home foreclosure filings in the Albany, NY, area drop 20 %

The number of Home foreclosure fillings in the Albany NY area tumbled 20 percent in November compared to the same time last year, home foreclosure filings nationwide also increased according to RealtyTrac.
There were 95 home foreclosure filings in Schoharie counties, Saratoga, Schenectady, Rensselaer and Albany in November. The data was compiled by RealtyTrac an online company that markets distressed properties.
Amongst the list of metropolitan statistical areas that have the highest foreclosure rate was Albany-Schenectady-Troy which ranked number 202.
The increased foreclosures in California and Florida are down to the sharp fall in residential real estate two years which has spiraled out of control.
On November 28 from a year ago almost 260,000 foreclosure filings have been made nationally.
