Black Friday Consumer Spending Boost: Stores and Offers

With the US celebrating Thanksgiving today shoppers are poised for tomorrow’s Black Friday shopping spree. You can purchase anything from a kids doll to a 42” plasma screen at huge discounts at hundreds of stores.
Many US banks are opening early tomorrow allowing shoppers to prepare themselves for Black Friday and enable them to take advantage of the many deals on offer.
With retailers seeing September figures plunging some have reduced their prices by 50 percent to help shoppers celebrate thanksgiving and boost their revenue. The name Black Friday actually come from being out of the red (running at a loss) back into the black (running at profit).
Retailers like the famous retail store Macy’s will be offering crazy prices, Victoria Secrets as well as the Bath and Body Works chains will be full of promotional offers.
Book store Borders have already been sending saving coupons through the post to over 30 million customers who are members of their loyalty scheme to entice them on Black Friday, offering 50 percent off selected Blu-Ray disc’s, plus deals on digital photo frames and CDs plus much more.
Wal-Mart are offering deals as low as $4 for kids coats on Black Friday, even though the stores kicked off a huge sale back on October 6.
If you are in the US it would be crazy not to take advantage of Black Friday, so enjoy your thanksgiving celebrations and get ready to shop and help kick start the economy.
