Obama Wins: 44th President of the United States

Barack Obama is the first black President of the United States, following the 2008 elections we could see Obama was on his was to be the leader of America, and it was almost certain less than four hours ago he was in front of John McCain.

It is now confirmed Barack Obama has been elected the 44th President of the United States, Obama said in his acceptance speech “Change has come to America” around 100,000 supporters cheered.

This has been seen as an “Evolution of America” Obama being the first black President and taking over Republican George W Bush. America needs a fresh start, with new ideas and policies and Obama is the man that millions of American voters decided could do the best job for America.

It will be down to Obama and his party to dig America out of the financial crisis that has now engulfed the world, it will be down to Obama to kick start the US Housing market, and it will be down to Obama to fight to get unemployment levels down.

In McCain concession speech he urged all Americans who supported me to come together and bridge our differences to restore our prosperity, defend security and leave our children and grandchildren a better world than ours”. McCain went out with such great words of support, but it’s Barack Obama America and the rest of the world has their eyes on.

President George Bush will step down on January 20 2008 when Obama will be sworn the 44th US President, this is when the real work begins.
