Presidential Race: McCain hits out at Obama in economy fight

As the presidential campaign has just over a week to go Senator John McCain tried to gain supporter saying his economic recovery plan is greater than Barack Obama’s saying that Obama’s confiscatory policies will only deepen the country’s credit crisis.
Mr McCain stated at the economic roundtable meeting held in Cleveland “We both disagree with President Bush on economic policy, the difference is that he thinks taxes have been too low, and I think that spending has been too high”.
The Republican candidate’s remarks came as Mr Obama gets ready in Ohio on Monday to give his closing arguments speech. The two candidates are broadening their campaign trails in the final eight days to battleground states such as North Caroline, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Ohio both with their own economic messages.
In Obama’s speech on Monday it’s thought he will continue his argument that the United States need a new leader to restore it economy. The Democrat candidate is thought to continue his speech saying: “In one week, at this defining moment in history, you can give this country the change we need.”
