Bank of America online banking down: customers unable to log in

Bank of America Online Banking system is down, reports say that customers have been trying to log into their account and they just receive an error message.

According to the Bank of America they said they have had sporadic interruption of online banking service, but they add that it doesn’t impact customer information just the ability to access it, Bank of America are trying to correct the error. They also have said that the service should resume shortly.

Although customers feared that the Bank of America system issues were to do with the Wall Street Crash, but it seem unlikely, the bank have said that there are system issues but they would not confirm if the system issues had anything to do with the purchase of Merrill Lynch.

The system has been down since midday and the last time it was checked it was still down. The Bank of America will continue to work on the system failure.
